Countyrecords.com Spring News

Countyrecords.com has had an incredibly busy first 3 months of the year! We've added five new counties and increased the depth to several others. It all adds up to over FIVE MILLION NEW DOCUMENTS at your fingertips! Here are some of the highlights.


New Counties now available!

  • Coleman County TX - 21,000 documents back to December 2008.
  • Jasper County TX - over 218,000 documents back to 1988.
  • Taylor County TX - over 1 million documents back to 1880.
  • Tyler County TX - 86,000 documents back to November 2004.
  • Zapata County TX - we've replaced our old Zapata database with a new, improved version that includes property searches and will receive regular updates. It goes back to 1997 with over 58,000 documents.

Coverage expansion

  • Culberson County TX - Grantor/Grantee searches now go back to 1974! Additionally, you can search by Volume/Page back to 1911.
  • Johnson County TX - now includes records from 1958-1983 and from November, 1989 forward. We will be filling the 1984-1989 gap as soon as possible.
  • Lavaca County TX - now includes records back to July 1988.
  • Pecos County TX - Deed Records have been posted back to 1980.

  • Van Zandt County TX

Here's how you add a new county:
  1. Login to Countyrecords.com.
  2. Click "add/remove a county".
  3. Select a billing plan for the county.
  4. Click "Save Billing Plan" at the bottom.
The system will ask you to log in again, at which point you can begin searching the database.

Jasper County, Texas documents are now available on Countyrecords.com! This includes 218,000 documents back to January, 1988!

New Zapata County Database now available1

Zapata County, Texas documents are now available on Countyrecords.com! This includes 64,000 documents back to January, 1998!

This database marks a major improvement over what we offered previously for Zapata County including:

1. The new database will be kept current going forward.
2. The new database goes back further with more documents.
3. Property searches are included (Abstract/Acres and Subdivision/Block/Lot).
4. More historical data will be added later this year.

Taylor County, Texas documents are now available on Countyrecords.com! This includes 1.1 million documents back to January, 1880!

Karnes County 2018 Assessor Data now available!

The Karnes County database has been updated to include Assessor data for 2018! If a deed in Countyrecords.com matches the Assessor data then you will find the additional Assessor data posted including Property ID, Property Address and Market Value.

Plus, you will find links for the following:

  • A map of the property on Google (Map-Google)
  • An information page showing Assessor Information for the property (Assessor Info)
If you click the Assessor Information link (Assessor Info), a new web page will be displayed to show the following additional links:
  • A map of the property on Google (Map-Google), if available
  • The prices of surrounding properties if available (Prices-Zillow), if available
  • A link to the Karnes County Assessor site
These convenient features of Countyrecords.com come to you at no extra cost. If you are a current user of Countyrecords.com you can register to search the Karnes County Assessor database as follows:
  • Login to Countyrecords.com.
  • Click the modify account link in the upper right.
  • Click the Billing Plan link.
  • Select the "free" billing plan for Karnes County Assessor.

Culberson County Historical Documents Added

Over 45 years of historical data has been added to the Culberson County database on Countyrecords.com.

This includes Deed Record, Deeds/Trust and Oil/Gas books back to 1974. These documents can now be searched by Grantor/Grantee and more. We also offer documents from 1911 to 1974, available by Book/Volume/Page only.
