Montgomery County, TX now includes Assessor Data and Maps!

The Montgomery County database has been expanded to include Assessor data for 2008 and 2009! If a deed in Countyrecords.com matches the Assessor data then you will find the additional Assessor data posted including Property ID, Address, Assessed Value and Market Value.

Plus, you will find links for the following:

  • A map of the property on Google (Map-Google)
  • An information page showing Assessor Information for the property (Assessor Info)
  • A map of the property on the Montgomery Assessor's web site (Map-Assessor)

If you click the Assessor Information link (Assessor Info), a new web page will be displayed to show the following additional links:

On-line Assistance now available!

Countyrecords.com now provides on-line technical assistance for our users. At the bottom of many of the site's web pages as well as behind the Support link at the top of the screen you will find a link or an icon to the assistance page.

When you click the "How may we help you" icon, if a tech support representative is available, a chat screen will pop up where you can type your question and get an immediate response. If a representative is not available, you can click the icon to send an e-mail.

Operators will be typically available from 8:30am to 5:30pm CST Monday-Friday.

Milam County, TX is now available!

Milam County, Texas records are now available on Countyrecords.com. The database includes records from January 1980 forward. This is a Title Plant so property searches are included.

Registered users can select a billing plan for the above county as follows:

  1. Login to Countyrecords.
  2. Click the "modify account" link in the upper right corner.
  3. Click the "billing plan" link.
  4. Select the billing plan you wish to use and then click the "Save Billing Plan" at the bottom.

Hays County Price Reduction

Standard pricing for Hays County has been reduced on Countyrecords.com. It now costs only $2 to download an entire document, regardless of the number of pages.

Monthly subscriptions to Hays County have also been reduced to $100/month. This allows for unlimited searches and up to 200 document downloads per calendar month. After the 200 document download limit is reached, each additional document costs $1.

Also, the Hays County database is being expanded to provide more than 50 years of documents with documents prior to 1996 searchable by volume and page only. Watch for more information on this expansion in the next couple of weeks.

Countyrecords.com - Helpful Hints

I hope this article helps you understand some of the lesser known features that are provided with Countyrecords.com. From time to time, this resource will provide useful information, so check back often!

Ordering your search results
At the top of the search criteria page of Countyrecords.com you will find a drop-down box worded "Order By:" Use this drop down to select how you want your search results listed. While the options provide may be different from county to county, typically you will find order by Date Filed, Date Filed-reversed (newest at the top), and Instrument Type.

Search Hints
At the top of the Search Criteria page you will find a link to "Search Hints." This is a web page that gives you specific information about searching the selected county including the format of the clerk number, how names should be searched, and more. Also on the criteria Page, you will usually find a note immediately beneath the Grantor and Grantee box showing how to search names.

Current and Historical Invoice Copies
Have you ever wanted to look back to see your prior month invoice total? Or wonder what your current outstanding balance is? You can find these behind the "review current bill" link in the upper right hand corner of the search criteria page. Click that to view a form where you can:
  1. Click "Detail Invoice" to view outstanding/unbilled transaction detail and total.
  2. Click "Summary Invoice" to view outstanding/unbilled summary totals.
  3. Use the "Historical Invoice" box to enter a month/year (mm/yyyy) then click the View History button to view historical invoice detail.

Several Counties to be removed on March 9, 2009

On March 9, 2009, the counties listed below will no longer be available on Countyrecords.com. The supplier decided to no longer offer these databases to the public through our site. We are currently looking for other suppliers and will keep you apprised of any progress in the News section of Countyrecords.com.

While this was a long list of counties, it is a very small portion of our business because these counties did not include property searches and were not kept as up to date as our other remaining counties. Robertson County database improved! Pricing Changes in effect.

The Robertson County, Texas, database on Countyrecords.com has been dramatically improved effective February 24, 2009.

The new Robertson County database includes the following features:

* Historical records back to June, 1967 which is more than 20 additional years of data !
* Records are current through February 18, 2009 which is an additional year of data !
* Weekly database updates !
* Property searches by Subdivision/Block/Lot, Abstract/Acres and Property Address !

Countyrecords is pleased to announce a new and improved Orange County, TX database

Countyrecords.com has put in place a new Orange County, TX database which includes the following improvements:
  1. Wider coverage. The data now goes back to 2002 with images back to 2004. Plus current records are posted through November 17, 2008.
  2. More frequent updates. We will be adding new records for Orange County on a regular schedule.
  3. Property searches. Searches by Abstract/Acres and Subdivision/Block/Lot will now be available.
  4. Future plans. We are working on expanding our historical coverage and will continue to expand the coverage.
Existing Orange County, TX users will be automatically switched over to the new database. At this time, additional search fields available. Fee structures remain the same.

The Orange County improvements are part of our continuing efforts to improve our data coverage on Countyrecords.com.
